Key

Duties & Responsibilities Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.

On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications
• Apply Industrial Engineering techniques to streamline production processes and reduce waste.
• Partner with Facilities Engineers to plan new production lines and factory layouts.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers in developing standards and measuring shop performance against targets.
• Build and analyze discrete event simulations to identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and optimization opportunities.
• Interrogate and interpret production data to surface problems and implement improvements.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure sustainment of results.
• Collaborate across all functional groups throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop actionable, data-driven solutions to optimize production schedules, costs, and efficiency.

Desired Skills To thrive in this role, candidates should have:
• Industrial Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Project management experience.
• Experience developing, monitoring, and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance.
• Experience with forecasts, production schedules, and/or resource load staffing plans.
• Yamazumi or work balance experience to drive improvement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
