The Quality and Reliability Engineer serves as a key technical contributor responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing field surveillance, quality assurance, and reliability engineering activities in support of government and defense programs. This role analyzes system performance data, identifies reliability trends, and develops recommendations to improve product performance, durability, and operational effectiveness. Working closely with engineering, logistics, program management, and customer stakeholders, the engineer provides technical guidance and innovative solutions to address quality and reliability challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

The position also supports compliance with applicable military, contractual, and industry standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance mission readiness and customer confidence.

• Conduct field assessments and data collection to ensure performance and compliance with requirements.
• Analyze field surveillance data and provide detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues that arise during field and facility operations.
• Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with program standards and requirements.
• Support the development of engineering solutions to enhance surveillance capabilities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and operational staff.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards during field activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
