Senior Electrical Engineer Huntsville, Alabama Travel:
Up to 25% as needed
Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic products from initial proposals through production release. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys circuit board design, system-level problem solving, testing, and working with teams to bring products into production.
What youll do Design electrical subsystems and support electronic product development from concept through production.
Create schematics, support PCB layout, and prepare specifications, bills of materials, and assembly documentation.
Review customer requirements and participate in design reviews.
Develop validation plans, analyze test results, and document whether designs meet performance requirements.
Investigate failures and product issues, determine root causes, and communicate findings in clear written reports.
Support preproduction builds, production transfers, engineering changes, and customer technical issues.
Work with engineering teams to address system integration and EMI/EMC considerations.
Qualifications:
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with substantial relevant experience, or a masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 7 years of electrical engineering experience, including circuit board design.
Ability to create and interpret schematics and wiring drawings.
Experience using laboratory equipment to troubleshoot electronic assemblies and perform failure analysis.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to document technical findings.
System integration experience and the ability to work across engineering disciplines.
Experience with PCB layout, EMI/EMC testing, Altium Designer, automotive electronics, or wireless charging is a plus. Why is This a Great Opportunity:
