Full‑Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Practice

River Region Psychiatry Associates, operating as Ally Psychiatry, is seeking a full‑time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding outpatient practice
. This is a great opportunity to be part of an established and growing team as we enter a new market.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Call:
  • 1 night of call per week
  • 1 weekend of call per month
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow‑up care
  • Collaborate closely with supervising psychiatrists and clinical staff

• Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing.
• Those six years are composed of a 4‑year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2‑year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing.
• Must have or pursue a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting

• Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
• Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
• Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric‑mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric‑mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
