Sales Associate - Huntsville, AL – Johnson & Johnson Med Tech – Orthopaedics

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech invites you to apply for the Sales Associate position located in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is part of our Orthopaedics business that develops innovative, personalized treatments for joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, and robotics.

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies, offers a comprehensive orthopedics portfolio. In this role, you will provide clinical and customer support, support sales objectives, and maintain/manage surgeon and account relationships within a geographic territory.

• Assist the DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers and acquiring new customers, achieving established sales goals and market share objectives.
• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room with clinical and product knowledge, present and demonstrate DePuy Synthes products, and ensure proper utilization.
• Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring proper equipment availability, optimizing tray setup, and providing Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance; manage hospital billing, create and close purchase orders.
• Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with other sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to improve solutions and service levels.
• Maintain and track equipment and assets in the assigned area, keep promotional materials presentable, and ensure DePuy Synthes services meet the highest quality standards.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; differentiate DePuy Synthes products from competitors by providing unique insights.

• Bachelor’s Degree, or
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with minimum 2 years of professional and/or related experience, or
• Minimum 4 years of professional and/or related experience, or
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.

• Ability to work in a laboratory or operating room environment.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including weekends and overnight stays.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, Alabama.
• Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen.
• Efficient, organized, self‑motivated, positive and proactive.
• Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions (preferred).
