Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for an HR Generalist to serve as the first point of contact for HR requests, manage and refine the new hire onboarding program, and help drive a consistent, high‑quality employee experience across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers, assessing employee issues, determining appropriate responses, and escalating complex matters as needed
  • Own and manage the HR inbox and ticketing system, prioritizing, routing, and resolving employee and manager requests based on business impact and urgency
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, including designing/update orientation content and continuously improving the employee experience
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, documentation, coaching, and corrective action, including recommending next steps and best practices
  • Manage employee records, I-9, E-Verify, etc., ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations
  • Manage pre‑employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, onboarding paperwork, etc.), resolving discrepancies and making recommendations on employment eligibility
  • Maintain HRIS and SharePoint data integrity and determine appropriate employee status, job changes, and system configurations based on policy and legal requirements
  • Apply and recommend updates to HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment in a consistently evolving organization
  • Support and participate in employee relations matters, audits, and compliance reviews, including gathering facts, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, compliance metrics, and hiring/turnover trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist or related role
  • Working knowledge of employment / compliance laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or government contracting environment
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience with Rippling PRO
Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between office and production areas and attending events or meetings off‑site as needed.

Work

Environment

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross‑departmental collaboration and both independent and team‑based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as business needs demand.

ITAR Requirement

In compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders), or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
