Job Purpose
Responsible for leading/supporting the security of all systems/networks. This includes detecting/preventing attacks that originate from either inside or outside the company. Ensures employees are kept abreast of current security threats. Training employees on security policies and procedures. Reviews and suggests new security measures aimed at keeping pace with security threats. Coordinates with other departments to ensure new technologies and projects being implemented meet our security requirements.

Support/maintain existing security solutions/software. Responsible for managing, directing and training the Security Operations team (e.g. daily activities/requirements/responsibilities, etc.).

Information Security Analyst
Job Purpose

Ensures employees are kept abreast of current security threats. Training employees on security policies and procedures. Reviews and suggests new security measures aimed at keeping pace with security threats. Coordinates with other departments to ensure new technologies and projects being implemented meet our security requirements.

Support/maintain existing security solutions/software. Responsible for managing, directing and training the Security Operations team (e.g. daily activities/requirements/responsibilities, etc.).

Nature Of Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and track security project tasks, including but not limited to, security controls development and implementation, security testing and remediation, compliance tracking, and documentation for management and auditing activities
• Support Intrusion Prevention system (IPS) solution
• Support Web Security Platform
• Support Email Security Solutions
• Support Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Support Firewall policies and changes
• Support Security information and event management (SIEM) solution
• Support Endpoint Security solutions
• Support Incident Response
• Assist in selecting, implementing, and auditing security controls, contingency plan, configuration management, etc. based on guidance documents such as NIST, ISO, etc..
• Perform security assessment and risk analysis including log auditing and vulnerability scanning.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years hands-on IT Security experience
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
• Security related certifications (CISM, GSEC, Security +, CISSP or working towards CISSP is preferable)
