We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Dev Ops Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of mission‑critical cloud infrastructure in a classified AWS environment
. This is a fully onsite role in Huntsville, AL
, supporting national security and defense programs that demand strict adherence to security and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in AWS cloud services
, Terraform infrastructure as code
, Linux system administration
, and Agile/Scrum practices
, with a proven track record in building scalable, secure, and automated Dev Sec Ops  pipelines.

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Administer and optimize Linux‑based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Power Shell for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure and manage networking, VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption policies in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Dev Sec Ops  practices, improving release cycles and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to support rapid delivery cycles.
• Support accreditation and compliance activities under DoD/IC security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of Dev Ops workflows.

Our standard benefits include 3 weeks of paid time off (including sick leave). Any unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary with us. We also provide 2 floating and 8 public holidays. Floating and holidays expire at the end of every year of service.

The company covers 50% of health and dental insurance for all full‑time employees; dependents can be added at extra cost. Coverage becomes effective after 30 days or the first of the month following the initial 30 working days. We provide STD, LTD, and a one‑time salary equivalent life insurance at no cost to all full‑time employees.

All full‑time or W‑2 employees without benefits will be eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) program after 90 days of employment with a company match of 4% and immediate vesting. In addition, all W‑2 employees are eligible to be part of the company’s profit sharing, with no employee contributions required.
