Primary Function
Strait Sys is looking for a Cloud Solutions Analyst to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role will use technical skills for the design and implementation of various cloud technologies to build, scale, and administer AWS cloud environments while abiding by industry standards and policies. You will take part in design reviews and planning milestones to ensure project scoping activities match architectural goals and specifications.
When new applications are introduced or current ones undergo changes, the Cloud Solutions Analyst will work with partners in other divisions to provide build solutions. Other responsibilities include documenting cloud processes and quickly working toward higher levels of expertise in best practice for cloud platforms.
- Create, develop, and implement solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements.
- Identify the needs for build automation, designing, and implementing cloud solutions.
- Consult on cloud requirements from diverse application/line of business partners.
- Create, develop, and implement automation and system integration for various build platforms.
- Actively participate with team members and contractors/vendors to prevent or quickly address problems.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the Cloud domain.
- Identify management concerns and problems, assess them, and offer prompt solutions and/or escalation.

- Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops Automation (Terra Form, Git Lab, Git Hub, Git Hub Actions).
- Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security.
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS policy, configuration, and security management tools.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS) and infrastructure services.
- Experience with Power Shell or other scripting languages like Bash.
- Proven creative problem-solver.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
- 3+ years experience as software developer within the Agile development process.
- Familiarity managing IT systems with system architecture frameworks and cloud environment considerations.
- Knowledge of Linux Operating System.
- Relevant experience working with the FBI.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
