Data Engineer, Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develop ETL mappings to extract data from source data systems (databases, files, etc.), transform data based on business requirements, and load the data into target data systems (databases, files, etc.).
- Conduct performance tuning of the mappings to ensure reasonable extraction, transformation, and loading times based on requirements.
- Develop BI reports using BI software and perform unit testing of reports. Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment) of BI dashboards and reports.
- Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent, and 4 additional years of experience (or 10 years of total experience).
- Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views; implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
- Solid foundation in data warehousing and reporting platform concepts; recommend solutions and drive best practices.
- Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, query, aggregation, visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology.
- Capable of utilizing ETL processes.
- Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments preferred.
Pay range is the lowest to highest compensation reasonably believed we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range based on relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
