Principal Software Integrator

Location: Huntsville, AL (100% On-Site)
Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret

Position Overview

The Principal Software Integrator will support the integration, deployment, and sustainment of complex software systems within a secure government environment. This role requires hands-on experience integrating multiple software components into a unified system, supporting both Windows and Linux environments, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure system reliability, usability, and compliance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; or
  • Master's degree with 3 years of related experience; or
  • PhD with 1 year of related experience.
• Previous experience integrating multiple software components into a single operational system.
• Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Ability to develop and maintain in-depth expertise in the GSS Launch Management Systems concept of operations and user interface.
• Experience writing installation manuals and technical documentation.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash, C Shell, and Python.
• Experience working within the Atlassian toolset, including:
  • JIRA
  • Confluence
  • Bitbucket / Git
  • Jenkins
  • Artifactory
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification meeting DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II requirements.
• Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required at time of start.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower.
• Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development concepts.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code.
• Experience analyzing ASCII and XML log files.
• Ability to perform basic SQL operations in a MySQL environment.
