Project Manager II

ARES is seeking a Project Manager II to provide support to the Workplace & Collaboration Services (WCS) group at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM).

From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world. Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help develop detailed plans, define scope, set goals, and translate vision into actionable tasks.
• Leverages subject matter expertise (SME) to better enable NASA's enterprise approach providing collaboration services by evaluating conference room Audio Visual (AV) hardware and software.
• Partners with key stakeholders throughout all phases of AV projects ensuring requirements, goals, milestones, and deliverables are defined and ultimately achieved.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project technical documentation including lessons learned.
• Assists in the development of NASA project roadmaps, accurately documents conference room AV requirements, and identifies project risks to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
• Serves as the liaison between the team, vendors and functional management for all project-related communication and provide regular status updates and reports.
• Maintains awareness of multiple projects throughout all phases and prepare executive summaries.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, identifying areas for process and service delivery improvements to better enable stakeholders to make data driven decisions.
• Maintain awareness on emerging AV technologies and best practices through monitoring industry manufacturers and technical publications.
• Commit to continuous professional development to ensure technical expertise remains at the forefront of the industry.

EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or BA degree in any field.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, One Note, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of effective organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
• 2+ years of A/V industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of A/V industry experience.
• Proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Planner.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with QSYS (Q-SYS is a cloud-manageable audio, video and control platform) and/or Crestron (Simplified platform for automation and control of all your technology and spaces).
• QSYS Level 1 Certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
• AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), CTS-D, or CTS-I Certificate
