Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a MES Administrator to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. This is an excellent opportunity for mid-career professionals that are eager to apply their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Solution Support and Configuration

  • Assist in the design and configuration of Factory Logix solutions to align with business requirements, manufacturing processes, and IT infrastructure.
  • Support the development of technical specifications, design documents, and integration strategies for Factory Logix implementations.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation within the Factory Logix ecosystem under the guidance of senior team members.

Implementation and Configuration

  • Participate in the implementation of Factory Logix modules, supporting the full project lifecycle.
  • Configure Factory Logix to meet specific manufacturing needs, including routings, BOMs, work instructions, quality plans, and data collection.
  • Assist in integrating Factory Logix with other enterprise systems (ERP, PLM) using APIs, databases, or middleware.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support for Factory Logix-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving system problems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement proactive monitoring and maintenance strategies for Factory Logix systems.
  • Assist in mentoring and training end-users on Factory Logix best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Optimization and Documentation

  • Analyze existing Factory Logix configurations to identify potential improvements and performance optimizations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Factory Logix configurations, processes, and integrations.
  • Support the establishment and enforcement of best practices for Factory Logix implementation and administration.

Training and Collaboration

  • Provide hands‑on support during implementation phases, including testing, data migration, go‑live, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Assist in conducting training workshops for end‑users and IT teams to ensure smooth adoption and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and engineering, to support the integration of manufacturing systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Act as a point of contact for Factory Logix‑related topics and participate in relevant meetings/workshops with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4‑8 years of prior relevant work experience or Master’s with 2‑6 years of prior relevant work experience. Candidates with associate degree with 6+ years of experience will be considered.
  • 1+ years of experience in MES implementation, preferably with a strong focus on MES Aegis Factory Logix.
