Cybersecurity Engineer

Rothe is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer I to support IT security and compliance for the information systems maintained by the eMITS contract at Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. The work will be in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract.

Develop a detailed understanding of the function and operation of the information systems maintained by the eMITS contract; apply expertise in IT and knowledge of IT management requirements to keep the organization responsive to all IT reporting and IT security implementation requirements; generate and provide input to IT security plans, testing procedures and results, standard operating procedures, contingency and disaster recovery plans, memoranda of understanding with interfacing systems, risk assessments, backup procedures, A&A documents, and verification reviews and site inspections;

and assist the organization with monitoring security controls for IT systems, assuring a continuous state of compliance with all IT security regulations and requirements. This position is on-site at Marshall Space Flight Center and remote work is not available.
