Blackwatch provides critical personnel to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to support enterprise-wide platforms across a wide variety of mobile and collaborative technologies within a zero-trust framework. Blackwatch provides comprehensive services to facilitate secure communication using various media in both classified and unclassified environments. This includes technical and technology support requirements exist for the engineering, deployment, and ongoing support activities for these communications services.
Blackwatch supports these missions, and the underlying capabilities that they provide, to the FBI enterprise providing highly skilled and reliable Audio/Video (A/V) Video Teleconferencing (VTC) System personnel to provide lifecycle support for critical information technology products, systems, and capabilities in multiple geographical FBI locations. The scope includes providing design, development, engineering, deployment, enhancement, operations and maintenance for existing A/V capabilities, enhancements/changes to existing capabilities, and engineering new A/V capabilities.

The Audio/Video Technician (Mid-Level) provides advanced technical support for the design, installation, and maintenance of A/V and VTC systems. This role requires the ability to work independently on complex assignments and contribute to enterprise-level system reliability and enhancement.
Responsibilities:- Set up, adjust, and operate complex audio-visual equipment for classified/unclassified environments.
- Perform technical design, installation, operation, and maintenance of advanced audiovisual systems.
- Evaluate new equipment and software for potential adoption.
- Record and photograph various activities, ensuring quality and security compliance.
- Program and maintain systems using multiple specialized software tools.
- Collaborate with engineers to deploy enhancements and modifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of A/V technical experience (certifications or prior work may substitute).
- Demonstrated expertise with multiple audio/video technologies and applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT administration, digital signage, AV, network operations, or a related technical role
- Experience administering a digital signage management platform/CMS
- Strong computer skills, including Windows and web-based administration tools
- Experience with networking fundamentals: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi/Ethernet, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Ability to install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot digital signage players and displays
- Experience managing users, permissions, devices, playlists, schedules, and content
- Ability to troubleshoot issues remotely and coordinate onsite technical support when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate device/site inventories
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple support requests
- Basic understanding of HTML, images, video formats, and digital media is preferred
- Ability to document procedures, configurations, incidents, and resolutions
