TCS is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team of professionals supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Advanced Research Center (ARC) in Huntsville, Alabama. The ARC is MDA’s premier Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) research and development facility for missile defense research to develop, integrate, and test complex missile defense systems with state-of-the-art computational modeling and simulation resources.
This is an on-site position in Huntsville’s Research Park.
Basic Qualifications:- One of the following:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with 6 Years relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 2 Years related experience
- Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 0 Years related experience
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
- IAT Level II certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Security+
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and virtual machines
, or comparable enterprise virtualization technologies. - Minimum of three years of experience administering Windows or Linux operating systems.
- Experience with IT process automation using Ansible and similar tools.
- Experience with Docker and Podman containerization, installation, and configuration.
- Scripting experience using tools such as Python, Bash, Power Shell.
- Experience operating under and managing systems within RMF or STIG information system environments.
- Experience with Dev Ops architecture leveraging automation, containerization, and Git Ops, using Git Lab/Jenkins/ArgoCD for CI/CD, Kubernetes (K8s) for orchestration, Istio for service mesh, and Nexus/Harbor for artifact repositories.
- Understanding of basic networking, including subnets, routing, and VLANs.
