Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Dev Sec Ops Engineer to support a company focused on delivering secure modernization solutions for federal and national security programs. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL. The Dev Sec Ops Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native deployment solutions supporting mission-critical applications across AWS and hybrid environments. Responsibilities for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, security scanning, and application deployments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Cloud Formation, and other automation tools
- Integrate security controls, compliance validation, vulnerability scanning, and audit reporting into development pipelines
- Support AWS cloud environments, containerized applications, Kubernetes orchestration, and deployment automation
- Collaborate with software engineers, cloud teams, QA automation, and product stakeholders to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:
- 8+ years of experience in Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD engineering, infrastructure automation, or secure software delivery environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloud Formation, AWS, and automation scripting
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and secure development lifecycle experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Compensation for the Dev Sec Ops Engineer include:
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
- Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law
