Mandarin Chinese - English Translator; Night Shift

Description

• Provide accurate interpretation between Mandarin and English for technical discussions, meetings, and training sessions in the manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and robotics domains.
• Assist in bridging language gaps between Mandarin-speaking team members and English-speaking counterparts to ensure smooth collaboration and understanding.
• Work closely with project teams to convey technical information, specifications, and instructions accurately.
• Support communication during 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, adhering to a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Background in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or robotics to facilitate precise interpretation of technical terms and concepts.
• Proven experience as an interpreter in technical and engineering settings.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adhere to a 2-2-3 schedule throughout the project duration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in language studies, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as an interpreter in manufacturing or engineering environments is highly desirable.
• Certification in interpretation or language studies is a plus.
