McMichael & Gray, P.C. is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to support and expand our presence in Huntsville, AL.
This role is ideal for a motivated, client‑focused attorney who thrives independently, excels at relationship building, and is energized by the opportunity to grow a book of business from a powerful, built‑in referral pipeline. You will receive the full operational support of McMichael & Gray—including title, processing, post‑closing, and compliance—allowing you to focus on what you do best: serving clients and cultivating strong agent partnerships.
Significant compensation upside is available based on captured business and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities- Work onsite within a top‑ranked brokerage to develop strong relationships with agents and staff.
- Serve as the go‑to legal resource for residential real estate transactions handled by the office.
- Conduct and oversee real estate closings, review title work, and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Represent lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout residential transactions with professionalism and exceptional service.
- Collaborate closely with the brokerage team to help streamline processes and elevate client experience.
- Promote McMichael & Gray’s reputation for excellence, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Alabama.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable engaging with high‑volume agent teams.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently within a partner office environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Must live in the Huntsville area.
- Ability to work extended or flexible hours as needed, particularly during peak periods.
- Full operational support, including file processing, title services, underwriting coordination, and post‑closing assistance.
