Head of Supply Chain

Huntsville, AL |$160,000–$180,000 Base Salary + Bonus Onsite in Northeastern Mississippi | Relocation Opportunity

A well stablished aerospace and defense manufacturer is looking for a supply chain leader who can connect commercial supplier decisions with manufacturing execution.

This is a high level position with responsibility for the complete supply chain organization. Experienced directors and senior leaders with broad manufacturing ownership are encouraged to apply.

• Set sourcing and purchasing priorities that support production requirements and customer delivery commitments.
• Own procurement, supplier management, materials planning, inventory, and logistics.
• Secure supplier capacity, strengthen commercial agreements, and improve quality and delivery performance.
• Resolve material shortages and reduce exposure to long lead times, sole-source suppliers, and capacity constraints.
• Improve inventory investment, working capital, and supply chain cost performance.
• Build team capability and scalable processes in partnership with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, operations, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing supply chain, procurement, sourcing, materials, or operations experience.
• Experience with in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Senior leadership responsibility spanning sourcing/procurement, suppliers, materials planning, and inventory.
• Experience developing teams and managing complex manufacturing supplier networks.
• Measurable results in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, quality, delivery, lead times, or supply risk.
• Financial and commercial strength in contracts, inventory, and working capital.
• Willingness to relocate if needed and work onsite in northeastern Mississippi.

• Defense contracting and familiarity with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100.
• ERP/MRP expertise in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience scaling a supply chain function or supporting new programs and production growth.

• Broad executive responsibility across strategy and daily execution.
• Opportunity to shape supplier relationships, develop the team, and strengthen manufacturing performance.
• Close collaboration with executive leadership on operational priorities and growth.

Compensation includes base salary depending on experience, plus a 10% bonus. Benefits, bonus conditions, travel, detailed schedule, and any relocation assistance will be discussed during the process.
