The Marketing Director will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies, policies, programs and campaigns for the organization.

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the department, to include on-premises staff, remote teams and contract marketing staff.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

• Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities for in-store and online marketing initiatives.
• Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches, customers and demand for products.
• Partners with Procurement and eComm leaders in conducting market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
• Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
• Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
• Maintains knowledge on trends and services for marketing.
• Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
• Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
• Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
• Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
