Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall project execution and administration.
  • Act as the primary contact for engineers and architects.
  • Develop staging, logistics, and phasing plans.
  • Establish bonding, change order logs, and cost tracking systems.
  • Oversee project startup activities, including permits, licenses, and mobilization.
  • Administer subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring compliance and timely payments.
  • Implement and monitor project quality control plans.
  • Prioritize, review, and expedite submittals.
  • Work with superintendents to maintain accurate labor forecasts.
  • Review project projections, safety documents, schedules, and reports monthly.
  • Prepare payment requests and oversee collections.
  • Participate in OAC progress meetings and prepare monthly status reports.
  • Manage project close-out documentation and procedures.
  • Ensure effective use of Procore tools and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate with city and state agencies for project reviews and inspections.
  • Review and approve invoices within budget constraints.
  • Manage change orders for subcontractors and purchase orders.
  • Expedite material deliveries to meet schedule requirements.
  • Conduct weekly safety surveys.
  • Assist in developing and updating project schedules.
  • Lead coordination of subcontractors and project teams.
  • Collaborate with pre-construction and field teams on deliverables and quality testing.
  • Develop site-specific safety plans.
  • Mentor and supervise project staff, including Project Managers and Engineers.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience managing large or multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of construction disciplines and financial systems.
    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with Procore, P6 Scheduling Software, and Pull Planning.
