We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Test Lab Team Lead position.

• Plan, coordinate, and provide technical direction for the team on a daily basis.
• Ensure on‑time and on‑budget completion of tasks.
• Interface with NASA and other contractor management to understand and define tasks and operations.
• Confirm that only qualified personnel (and, where required, appropriately certified individuals) perform work that requires certification.
• Train and prepare the team for current and future tasks.
• Coordinate with NASA customers to assess skill needs and maintain employee certifications to satisfy those needs.
• Validate compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) and Quality guidelines.
• Oversee operations and provide leadership to the technical workforce, ensuring tasks meet government requirements, workforce safety, and protection of government property.
• Recommend process improvements necessary to accomplish tasks.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to pass a security background check per Redstone Arsenal/MSFC requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least two years of directly related experience.
• Background in machine tool operations, lifting operations, mechanical fabrication/assembly disciplines, and knowledge of welding operations.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and workmanship.
• Dependability and willingness to work outside normal schedule.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork.
• Experience reading and understanding specifications and detailed work instructions.
• Ability to pass a physical examination for any required safety‑related certifications.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Experience with vacuum chamber and Thermatron.
• Background in instrumentation applications, data collection, electrical assembly, soldering, crimping, and fabricating various types of cables/connectors.
