Material Controller – Leidos

Support project logistics and inventory management in a fast‑paced environment.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive materials and process goods receipts to maintain full material traceability and compliance with corporate and customer requirements.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant receiving and stockroom environment.
• Participate in material packaging and shipments through UPS, Fed Ex, and freight carriers, preparing compliant documentation and shipping labels.
• Assemble kits using Costpoint generated pick lists (PCBs, cables, electronic test instruments).
• Contribute to inventory reconciliation events to maintain accuracy and traceability.
• Perform logistics support for the team as requested to ensure timely delivery of packages.

• U.S. citizenship.
• High School Diploma and 2–4 years of related work experience, including inventory database and shipping/receiving operations.
• Solid computer skills with online database entry, update, and lookup activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Costpoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Works well with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and organization.

• Experience with Costpoint or other ERP systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
