Polaris Inc. invites you to join our Huntsville team as a Welder in a fast‑paced, innovative manufacturing environment, welding full frames for our side‑by‑side utility vehicles and Polaris’s Slingshot. Our 24/7 operation requires flexibility, and welders may work 6‑7 days a week.

• Perform Arc and MIG welding on mild steel for RANGER or Slingshot production.
• Conduct weld assessments to meet all quality standards.
• Learn and follow Polaris specific weld process standards and arc monitor systems.
• Perform welding tasks according to production schedules while maintaining a consistent pace and focus on quality.
• Inspect all parts before and after workstations; report non‑conformance immediately to group leader or supervisor.
• Accurately complete required paperwork for production records, including labor reporting, move tickets, and SPC charts.
• Perform quality testing and documentation as required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations; keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Step in and perform tasks on robot welding equipment as needed; rotate between workstations.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader.

• All hourly candidates must attend an unpaid pre‑hire training program offered by the Alabama Department of Commerce.
• Completion of training and pre‑employment checks is required before any offer can be finalized.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• One year of manufacturing experience or educational welding experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.

• Lift up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Repetitive use of upper extremities; ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; reach overhead continuously; withstand heat.
• Use air, power, and vibrating tools; perform strong gripping motions.
• Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
• Functions may be required for up to twelve hours a day.

Hourly range: $22.09 — $26.14.
