Production Staff – Assembly
Location:
High Sec. Labs, Inc. (HSL) – Alabama

Job Type: Full-Time Non-Exempt
Job DescriptionThe Electronic Assembly Technician performs a wide variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies. This role involves the use of computers, hand tools, torque drivers, and related equipment while following established work instructions, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with work instructions and production schedules.
- Follow defined methods and sequences of operation, including wiring, component installation, board installation, and cable harnessing.
- Utilize the HSL ERP system (CORE) to complete daily production activities, including documentation and tracking.
- Inspect work at each stage of the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete assigned tasks within established takt time to support efficient product flow.
- Use provided materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Comply with all HSL policies and procedures, as well as OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in electronic assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical documentation, and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to maintain regular attendance.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time during the workday.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate hand tools and small components.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed assembly work.

- Manufacturing and assembly environment with exposure to electronic components, tools, and equipment.
