Renal Specialist I – Hemodialysis (PRN – 1st Shift)

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Renal Specialist I to work the 1st shift, a PRN position within the Hemodialysis unit. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality dialysis care and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

• Identify the needs and priorities of dialysis and apheresis patients through assessment.
• Plan and delegate patient care based on individualized needs.
• Evaluate patient response to treatment and progress toward expected outcomes.
• Maintain accountability for outcomes of patient care of assigned patients.

• Education – Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• License, Certification, or Registration – Current Alabama or multistate Nursing license required.
• Experience – ICU and/or prior dialysis experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Abilities – Ability to document and report to Renal Specialist II and the Dialysis Unit Charge Nurse;
  Call is required.
