RN Charge - Pediatrics - FT - 3rd Shift

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse for pediatrics, full-time, third shift.

• Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, and delegating care based on patient needs.
• Execute therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions.
• Evaluate patient response to care and progress toward outcomes.
• Coordinate care between professional disciplines as needed.
• Help patients and/or staff identify problems and explore alternative choices with them.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current Alabama license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire required.

• Previous nursing experience in critical care with proven supervisory/management ability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment requiring frequent prioritization.
