Wound Care Nurse – Encompass Health

We are Encompass Health seeking a compassionate healthcare professional passionate about wound care. This role transcends treating wounds to become a pathway to healing and making a difference in patients’ lives. As a key player in our wound care program, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans, educate patients and families, and lead hospital‑wide wound care education initiatives.

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, and educate patients and family members on wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
• Administer medication per policy and licensure regulations and complete appropriate documentation.

• LPN license active in the state.
• Certification in Wound Care and Management.
• CPR certification required.
• Continuous updating of wound care knowledge through seminars and professional organizations is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in wound care.
