We currently have two full-time doctors that are assisted by a loyal and collaborative support staff. We love our clients, as they are always friendly and receptive to our advice. Our services consist of preventative care, diagnostics, treatment, and surgery, as well as reproductive services!

Our ideal candidate is passionate about small animal care and has an interest in leadership and surgery.

Toney, AL is located less than a half hour north of Huntsville. The area became a hub for science and research when the Marshall Space Flight Center was established during the space race. The US Space and Rocket Center still serves as one of the biggest nearby attractions. For outdoor enthusiasts, we have access to many opportunities like hiking/biking in Monte Sano State Park or boating on the Tennessee River.

You can also access the social scene in downtown Huntsville where you can always find great live music or unique restaurants and lounges.

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.

• DVM/VMD from an accredited AVMA institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
