The Quality Inspector will inspect materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. The position may support production activities in mechanical, electrical, or kitting processes, and essential functions of the job description may vary.

• Read and interpret drawings and industry specifications to develop inspection criteria incorporating requirements into inspection records IAW established policies and procedures.
• Perform inspections of parts and components using height gauges, CMM, calipers, radius gauges, and other precision tooling as required by the specification.
• Perform inspections of cables and harnesses to ensure proper routing, splicing, crimping, soldering, and termination IAW drawing and SAE AS50881.
• Complete First Article Inspection documentation IAW AS9102.
• Calibrate tool/jig required for the operation IAW established procedures.
• Recognize incomplete or ambiguous technical data and submit required documentation (Form QA-105).
• Identify workmanship issues IAW associated industry specifications and complete required documentation (e.g., Form QA-026, First Pass Yield, etc.).
• Ensure adequacy and completeness of inspection documentation supporting the operation or task performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency certificate.

Experience:

• Six years as a Quality Inspector in a relevant area (mechanical or electrical).
• Two years' experience directly related to the contract effort required.
• Must be able to obtain required industry certifications/qualifications within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to utilize Solid Works Inspection Module to complete required inspection tasks and documentation within 90 days of hire.
