Sigma Defense Systems LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support our quality assurance efforts, ensure compliance with established standards, and maintain a clean and efficient work environment through application of the 5S methodology.

Sigma Defense is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our quality assurance efforts, ensuring compliance with established standards, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment through application of the 5S methodology.

• 2+ years of experience in a quality technician or similar role is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and documentation processes efficiently
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable working with computers and digital file systems
• Familiarity with 5S principles and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions with precision
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed
• Experience with electronics or RF systems is preferred
• Experience with electronic components or RF (radio frequency) systems is preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or working in a certified environment is preferred
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required

• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming products
• Maintain compliance with 5S workplace organization standards
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to uphold product quality throughout all stages of manufacturing
• Monitor and maintain quality-related equipment and calibration schedules
• Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support training efforts related to quality processes and procedures
