Up to 25% Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Budget Analyst for ASE, supporting the Army Division in Huntsville, AL. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
* Must currently possess an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Clearance will need to be verified by Quanti Tech Security and must be maintained.
* Master's (MS) degree in related discipline with more than 10 years direct experience.
* Must have working knowledge of DoD Instruction 7000.14-R, "Department of Defense Financial Management Policy and Procedures".
* Prior experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) required.
* Experience supporting ASE PMO strongly preferred.
* May require the ability and willingness to travel up to 25%. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Analyze budgeting and accounting reports.
* Prepare funding documents and maintain a record of financial management documentation.
* Support budget activities in the Defense Travel System (DTS) such as establishing lines of accounting and approval of travel orders.
* Typically performs functional duties independently.
* May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. #CJ
