Summary
The Regional Facilities and Physical Security Manager oversees enterprise‑wide Physical Security controls and assists in Facilities Management activities for Redwire’s office environments. This position provides administrative support for regional physical security systems—including access control, surveillance cameras, visitor intake, alarms, and related systems—and supports Facilities across various locations to maintain a safe, efficient environment. The ideal candidate maintains security protocols, addresses facility needs, promotes a secure workplace, supports the Health & Safety Program, manages vendors, ensures compliance with OSHA and local regulations, and coordinates projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administration, installation, operation, and maintenance of security systems (alarms, cameras, access control, intrusion detection, visitor intake).
- Develop and enforce security protocols, incident response procedures, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze security system performance; conduct testing, reporting, and preventive maintenance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors for consistent security coverage across all locations.
- Maintain proper physical security measures during business hours and follow visitor registration procedures.
- Investigate security incidents, implement corrective actions, and liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Ensure facilities services and repair activities are delivered and needs met across multiple locations.
- Assist with preventative maintenance plans and general building maintenance.
- Handle space management, vendor contracts, and services such as security and janitorial.
- Coordinate vendor and contractor activities for facility upgrades and renovations.
- Provide project management support as needed.
- Ensure facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and advise on best practices.
- Serve as the point of contact for security‑related inquiries.
- Assist sites in managing visitor intake and physical security.
- Support new employee badging, building access control, and onboarding.
- Work closely with the regional management team to assess security needs and implement solutions.
- Evaluate cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining high standards of safety and security.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on system performance, facility conditions, and key metrics.
- Travel may be required to regional locations for site assessments and coordination.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in physical security & facilities management (manufacturing, R&D, etc). Will consider relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong technical knowledge of physical security platforms, facilities management, and industry trends.
- Proven experience in security administration or facilities management with a focus on physical security systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- General building knowledge (HVAC, electrical systems).
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with security systems and access controls (especially Verkada).
- Experience preparing emergency action plans and facilitating audits and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple facilities and projects.
- Preferred certifications: CPP, PSP, FMP, or CFM.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, security software platforms, and facility management software.

Redwire determines pay using local, national, and industry‑specific survey data. Compensation considers external equity, cost of labor, internal budgeting, and internal equity. Salaries are based on experience, education, and specialized skills.
