Overview

Supv Security and Parking (FT) 1st shift — Huntsville Hospital

Coordinates the day-to-day operations for the Safety, Security, & Parking department, including scheduling, counseling, and disciplining assigned personnel while ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff.

• Education/Certification:
  
  High School diploma or GED required. Prefer a degree in law, law enforcement or business-related field from an accredited college or university.
• Within initial 90 days of employment:
  Heart Saver CPR certification;
  Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of two to three years supervisory experience in a comparable security, parking, or customer service operation. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards. Experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Additional Skills/Abilities:
  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and adapt to changing tasks. Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to enforce policies in an assertive yet courteous manner. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
