Kitchen Mechanic - Maintenance 1st shift

Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of routine-to-skilled duties in the repair, maintenance, modification, and installation of kitchen and food service equipment throughout the facility.

Education required: High School Diploma or GED. Advanced courses in refrigeration, electrical controls, appliance repair, or equivalent technical training/experience required.

License, certification and/or registration: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Experience: At least three years of experience in maintenance and repair of refrigeration and food service equipment.

Additional skills/Abilities:

• Ability to repair, maintain, modify, and install kitchen equipment.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, diagrams, and understand blueprints.
• Logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain records, logs, requisitions, and work orders.
• Basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances.
• Knowledge of general safety rules and emergency response procedures.
