Bicsi Technician

Overview

They are seeking experienced BICSI Level I or II Certified Technicians for a structured cabling project. The scope includes CAT6 and fiber optic cable installation in support of a datacomm infrastructure upgrade. Candidates must have a BICSI certification.

• Install, terminate, and test CAT6 and fiber optic cabling per project specifications.
• Follow BICSI standards and best practices for structured cabling.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical diagrams.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols on-site.

Experience Level: Expert Level. BICSI Level I or II certification required. Technicians must be customer‑facing, work well in a team, and maintain a professional demeanor—especially when serving key clients such as Redstone Arsenal. No goofing off or causing problems is acceptable.

• Structured cabling, cable puller, cable technician, low voltage, Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cable.

Contract position based out of Huntsville, AL. Fully onsite.
