Position Overview:
United Trades of America is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial & Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician for full-time work in Decatur, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration units. This position requires a reliable, self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also being available for on-call shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently
• Install HVAC/R units in commercial settings as needed
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend necessary repairs or improvements
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a full-time Commercial HVAC/R Installer/Service Technician
• Proficiency in diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A clean driving record is required
• Availability for on-call shifts as part of a rotating schedule
• Certification in HVAC/R is a plus
