Collision Auto Body Technician

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work required and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Repair dents, dimples, and minor body damage; mix and apply filler resins when necessary.
• Realign car chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
• Remove damaged vehicle sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as required.
• Weld or otherwise attach parts in place and prep and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified or equivalent paint.
• Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

• Read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Work effectively with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

• Work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
