An exciting new Lockheed Martin program is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Architect to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong software design, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, and Python

• Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience - (Green Hill or VxWorks)

• Standard teaming:
Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams

• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test

• Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw/Rhapsody

• Experience with requirements verification in multiple program lifecycle phases

• Experience with Agile project management

• Familiar with Guidance, Navigation, and Control Algorithms

• Active Secret Clearance Required

Skills:

• Demonstrated behaviors of a software thinker; select and apply appropriate software thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change

• Familiarity reviewing codes, requirement, and UML diagrams

• Experience with White Paper and Trade Studies

• Experience participating on teams implementing MBSE on programs or contracts

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
