Senior Software Engineer – Huntsville, AL

Full Visibility LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.

The Senior Software Engineer will develop code, tests, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software. The candidate will have a good understanding of business applications and user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. The ideal candidate will work with technical staff to understand software problems, resolve them, address customer complaints, respond to suggestions for improvements, and may assist in developing software user manuals.

Responsibilities also include desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training, including automating application and configuration deployments and updates.

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• At least 8 years of software development experience
• Experience with Java, AWS, Docker, REST Web Services, API development, Spring Boot, CI/CD, API testing
• Preferred experience with Elasticsearch, Apache TIKA, Apache NiFL, Scala
• Experience identifying technical strategies
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Robust decision‑making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
