Position: Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Check out this new opportunity! Software Engineer - Simulation Products & Analysis Team On-site in Huntsville, AL Target salary range: $70,000 - $90,000.00 Active Secret Clearance Required to Start Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain simulation software using C++
* Integrate software into simulation frameworks for system design and analysis
* Contribute to unit testing, system testing, and verification activities
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure software aligns with system requirements
* Follow software development best practices throughout the lifecycle
* Participate in Agile-based collaboration using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
* Work independently and within cross-functional teams in a dynamic, high-expectation environment

Qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship required

* Education:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of experience
* Clearance:
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance
* Proficient in C++ development
* Experience working with simulation tools or frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
* Experience developing unit tests and supporting system-level testing
* Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
* Strong critical thinking skills and ability to clearly present technical concepts
