Cybersecurity Software Engineer

Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join a multi‑disciplinary team within a matrixed organization to create unique solutions for complex problems, specifically regarding missile defense systems.

The Cybersecurity Software Engineer will run and automate the tool set for analyzing static code for cyber standards for the IFPC Inc 2 software teams. The engineer will perform data analysis generated from the tool set and determine applicability of data and reliability. The results will generate backlog items to be worked as part of the SAFE process. The engineer will also support creating/updating documentation for deliveries (CDRLs, Tech Bulletins, etc.).

The development environment the team works in is a Linux environment using languages like C++ or Python.

• A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Software related preferred) from an ABET‑accredited university with 4+ years of experience or an MS with 2+ years
• Data Analysis
• SW Development Experience
• Cyber Experience
• Experience working within an Agile environment (or equivalent)
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Gitlab (or equivalent)
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

• Software code scanning tools (CPP Check, Check Marx, Fortify, or similar) experience
• Cyber certifications
• SAFE Agile Experience
• Linux Experience
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
