Visual Soft, Inc is seeking qualified candidates to work on our efforts with a Prime for their end customer, a federal agency in Huntsville, AL.

We are seeking highly skilled and Mid-Level Test Engineers to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for full-stack enterprise applications built on Java EE (JEE), Oracle, Angular, AWS, and No

SQL technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automated testing, API validation, CI/CD integration, and performance testing within complex distributed systems.

• Design and execute end-to-end test strategies covering UI, API, backend, and integration layers.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Test JEE-based backend services and Angular-based front-end components for functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Validate data integrity across Oracle and No
  
  SQL (e.g., Mongo
  
  DB, Dynamo
  
  DB) databases.
• Implement automated regression and smoke test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab, or AWS Code Pipeline).
• Work closely with developers and Dev Ops teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools for RESTful and Graph
  
  QL services.
• Validate AWS cloud deployments and ensure application reliability across multiple environments.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Mentor junior QA team members and assist in defining quality metrics and best practices (Senior role).

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years (Mid-Level) experience in software testing within full-stack environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Frontend:
  Angular, Type Script, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend:
  Java EE / Spring Boot / REST APIs
• Databases:
  Oracle SQL, Mongo
  
  DB or DynamoDB
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)

• Proficiency in test automation using Selenium Web Driver, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with Postman or REST Assured for API automation.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and security testing concepts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Active Top Secret clearances is REQUIRED

3 weeks of Paid time off (PTO that includes sick leave). Any unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee's anniversary with us. We also provide 2 floating and 8 public holidays. Floating and holidays expire at the end of every year of service of an employee. In addition, company will cover 50% of health and dental insurances only for all full time employees, however, dependents can be added at extra cost.

Employee's health and dental coverage becomes effective after 30 days or first of the month after an employee completes initial 30 working days, we cover 50% for the employee's health and dental insurances. An employee has to finish all of your paper work for health and dental in the first 30 days of your employment with us. We provide STD, LTD and one time salary equivalent of life insurance at NO cost to all full time employees.

All full time employees or w-2 employees with no benefits will be eligible to participate in company's 401k program after 90 days of employment with a company match of 4%, immediate vesting. In addition, all w-2 employees are eligible to be part of company's profit sharing, no employee contributions required.
