Senior Software Developer - Top SECRET - fully ONSITE

Visual Soft Inc is seeking qualified U.S. Citizens with active Top Secret clearance for this fully onsite position in Huntsville, AL supporting defense and intelligence programs.

Location: Huntsville, AL (full onsite)

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of hands‑on software development experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in Java, microservices, Docker, and AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Cloud Formation).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding, and Dev Sec Ops .

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices and APIs in distributed cloud environments.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions on AWS.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and manage service orchestration.
• Participate in all phases of Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Implement and enforce secure coding standards in compliance with government cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, DoD RMF).
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Dev Ops, QA, cybersecurity, system engineers).
• Troubleshoot complex software issues across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and support code reviews.
