Software Engineer - C#

This role will be performed Onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Summit TRC is seeking to add a Software Engineer to our team. This role will be focused on building and deploying software to enable new capabilities on a next generation aviation product. The right engineer will have a strong foundation building and deploying complex applications in C# and a solid understanding of software design principles. • Design and develop C# and .NET software components used in middleware
• Implement modular, object-oriented architectures that support multiple UAS platforms
• Support containerized software deployments in Linux environments
• Participate in integration and testing of new UAS systems within HWIL environments
• Work inside Git Lab-based workflows for version control, CI/CD, and automated build/test pipelines
• Write unit tests and end-to-end integration tests to validate communication flows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems Integration and Testing teams

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
• Active security clearance
• Experience building and integrating high-quality software solutions
• Background in object-oriented programming
• Backend software development experience using C# and .NET technologies
• Experience writing unit tests and end-to-end automated tests
• Experience with modern software deployment techniques and version control tools (e.g., Git Lab)
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and the command line
• Demonstrated ability to identify and solve complex software-level problems
