Bachelors Degree in of the following areas, from an accredited university/college:
• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Computer & Information Security
• Computer Security and/or Network Administration
• Or
• Masters in Computer Science or related field of Science & Technology
Minimum Experience:
The Software Engineer shall have 5 years of experience in cloud operations and systems administration. The software engineer shall have a proven understanding of software development, engineering, programming languages and tools:
Java, Python Ruby, .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Power Shell, CI/CD Pipelines and the ability to work with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, XP). The software engineer shall be able to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages. The software engineer shall have expert knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry Docker, Open Stack, and public or AWS Gov Cloud delivery solutions via AWS and/or Azure.
Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the government’s discretion Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance required. Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.) Benefits:
