Senior Full Stack Developer - Active TS is required (ONSITE - 100%)

Visual Soft Inc is seeking qualified candidates to work with a Prime contractor for a classified federal agency in Huntsville, AL. The position is fully onsite.

• Develop and maintain Java software applications in the Cloud (AWS preferred) using Agile software development techniques.
• Support software application migration from an on‑premise data center to a cloud environment.
• Consult with business process owners, customers, users and constituents to develop and analyze customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project team members to ensure successful, technically sound projects that are completed on time and on budget.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in the performance of project tasks.
• Perform application testing.
• Create and maintain application documentation.
• Overall 12+ years of experience with a BS degree.

• Agile development experience.
• Application server experience with Agile development.
• Cloud development experience.
• Full Stack Developer with Java/JEE and Angular experience is a MUST.
• Java Development JDK 1.7 / 1.8 (or higher); J2EE technologies.
• REST API, SOAP.
• Relational SQL.
• JBoss Middleware.
• Apache Web Server.
• HTML, CSS & Web services.
• JavaScript frameworks:
  Node / Angular / Express.
• Red Hat Linux.
• Desired AWS technologies (API Gateway, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer interface experience.
• Excellent teamwork skills, including team leadership experience.

Active Top Secret clearance is REQUIRED.

Our standard benefits include three weeks of paid time off (PTO that includes sick leave). Unused PTO will be issued as a check at the end of an employee’s anniversary with us. We also provide two floating days and eight public holidays. Floating days and holidays expire at the end of every year of service. In addition, the company covers 50% of health and dental insurance premiums for all full‑time employees;
