The Aquatic Instructor conducts swimming classes, lessons, and supervises public swimming activities. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of swimming classes, assisting with pool operation and maintenance, and ensuring water safety.

• Teach swimming classes and lessons for all age groups.
• Supervise regular swimming activities at public facilities.
• Assist in pool operation, maintenance, and equipment upkeep.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED and enrollment from an accredited institution.
• Experience as a qualified lifeguard and instructor at a large public swimming pool or aquatic facility.
• Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification (must be obtained within 11 months of hire).
• Water Safety Instructor Certificate.
• Certified Pool/Spa Operator Certificate.
