Nature & Purpose of Position- Greet each guest and offer assistance as needed
- Provide information on services, programs at university-wide functions, and outreach events
- Answer incoming calls
- Recommend and connect students to appropriate services
- Assist students with making appointments
- Evaluate ASC emails and reply or forward to appropriate staff
- Contribute to the planning and execution of department events
- Aid students with appointment check-ins
- Communicate effectively with office and other student staff
- Collaborate with other departments to meet student needs
- Promote ASC services and programs at outreach events
- Contribute to marketing ideas to build our brand via social media platforms
- Regularly attend trainings and staff meetings
- Create and maintain a semester schedule that correlates to the Ambassador job requirements
- Responsible for administrative support tasks not limited to maintaining the office, assisting office staff, maintaining some departmental records, light data entry, running on-campus errands, preparing reports, and helping with other administrative tasks as needed
- Punctual, approachable, and have a passion for helping others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work well in a team and on independent projects
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- In order to support ASC/FYE events, Ambassadors must also be able to operate a dolly or other means of moving heavy/bulky supplies and standard office equipment
- Must have completed a FAFSA Application for 2025
